UPS Plane Crash Near Louisville Airport Kills at Least 7, Officials Say

The plane crashed and exploded shortly after taking off from a Kentucky airport that hosts the delivery company’s main air cargo hub, forcing the airport to close.

A shelter-in-place order was issued for a five-mile radius around the airport in Louisville, Ky., after a plane crash on Tuesday afternoon, the authorities said.
