The head of the Norwegian Nobel Institute told the state broadcaster that María Corina Machado would not attend Wednesday’s event in Oslo.

The studio’s film “One Battle After Another,” and an HBO show it owns, “The White Lotus,” scored the most nominations for movies and television shows.

Past presidents have attended the marquee event, but on Sunday Mr. Trump was the first to host it, putting his cultural takeover of Washington in sharp relief.
