President Trump, the chairman of the Kennedy Center, wrote on social media that “we are going to be working with Congress to transfer this failing Institution back to them.”
In an incensed social media post, President Trump suggested that the ruling might prompt him to cast the center aside after more than a year at its helm.
“Congress gave the Kennedy Center its name, and only Congress can change it,” Judge Christopher R. Cooper of the Federal District Court in Washington wrote in a ruling on Friday.
