Joan Vassos, a 61-year-old school administrator and grandmother, didn’t find love on “The Golden Bachelor.” She’ll give it another try as the star of ABC’s new spinoff.
“Everybody was like, ‘Yeah, this is going to be really embarrassing, but you go right ahead and do it,’” said Ms. Vassos, whose husband died in 2021. “‘You deserve to find love.’”
